Mystery, romance, science, murder and a two-headed dog…

My first novel for Young Adults is out with Chicken House in April 2014. The Chicken House list is tremendous and I am delighted, proud, bowled over and hugely excited to be working with them (hence the adjective overload – sorry).

On an ordinary London morning a girl meets a boy who will show her his city, where nothing is what it seems. Characters from international myth and legend hide in plain sight, but they are living extraordinary lives. Old feuds are rife and grudges last centuries, passed through generations. Now, they must unite to derail a government conspiracy that threatens not only their existence, but the survival of London itself. Ancient worlds collide with modern technology in a race to find what makes us human, and whether love can cross the divide.
